Imagine having a 3D chatbot as your new best friend!

While it is still easy to tell the difference between a real person and a virtual entity, ai chatbot technology is becoming more sophisticated.  People are now engaging with and making more personalized connections with these virtual lifeforms. Think of it as having a pet, but in this case it is with a digital or virtual life form.   

In this interview with AI and Strategic Marketing expert Dr Tania Peitzker we discuss  chatbots  and their benefits and uses commercially and for society overall.  From sales and marketing tools that can create more personalized connections with customers to  positive impacts like providing information, support  and connection in almost every language  to under- served members of our population. 

In the midst of the corona-virus pandemic we are seeing more opportunities for  chatbot technology.   From using motion activated and touch free screens that can minimize the need for physical or person to person contact for information or retail transactions, to handling surges on our government agencies for things like pensions, emergency payments or even health-care processing. 

There are still many gaps when it comes to the rules and regulations around using this technology and that’s why discussions like this are so important.  I encourage all small business owners to get informed and educated.  When used the right way we can improve efficiency, deeper customer connection and bottom line results and also find wider benefits to society as a whole.
